The Axon E2210 allows EFTPOS transactions to be converted into a format for reliable carriage over Next G. The standard analogue ports that come with most Next G services (for example on the Ericsson W25 fixed wireless terminal), can be problematic for EFTPOS and other modem connections due to the compression algorithms used on the voice circuits.
Axon 2210 NextG EFTPOS adaptor for EFTPOS over Next G IP
To solve this problem, the Axon E2210 extracts the AS2805 payload before sending it via an IP connection to an EFTPOS aggregation server. White Label Networks has an EFTPOS transaction bureau service that supports a number of major banks. The Axon E2210 has an Ethernet port that connects to one of the switch ports on the Next G router. It also has a terminal port that connects to the telephone port on the EFTPOS terminal.
